The University of Texas RTF undergraduate program is one of the most dynamic and highly regarded media programs in the country, Undergraduates from this program have won numerous awards at international, national, and regional film festivals. Students graduating with a BS in RTF take courses that entail studying, making and creating of media. The curriculum also covers the globalization, history and contemporary structure of media industries, media content, texts, and policy and regulation. Graduates of the program are well prepared to analyze the critical trends that have shaped and continue to transform the industry. Graduates are adept at critical thinking and adaptive abilities in the field of media, and are capable of applying their fundamental understandings.
